Many bowling clubs do not go ‘on tour’ due to the lack of a volunteer within the club, who is willing to make all the arrangements and take on the responsibility. We can arrange a tour to Wales, Ireland, Scotland, or England, for any club or group from within these same countries. We are unable at present to arrange tours outside of these countries. We hope that this will be possible in the not too distant future. We cannot give prices on this website as the final cost depends upon how many people will be going. Generally the cost will be more if numbers are low, and if more than 2 or 3 single rooms are required. W.I.S.E. Tours are here to help.

We will make all the necessary provisional enquiries to hotels, clubs, coach companies, etc, and then tell you what the total cost would be. There is no obligation to take up the tour.

When you do decide to go ahead, we will ask you for a deposit cheque, in order that we can pay deposits to hotel and coach company, in order to secure your tour. We will then contact the relevant county secretary in order that the tour is officially accepted, and make all the necessary arrangements for you. We will be in contact with your ‘organiser’ at all stages to ensure that our arrangements are as you wish. We will produce a full itinerary for your tour for each couple / person so that everyone will know the planned times for each coach pick-up, games, meals, trips, etc, on a daily basis. The match details including teams and captain of the day, and all other relevant information will be at each persons fingertips throughout the tour. We will ask you for a ‘welcome’ message for your people, along with any other notices that you wish, in order that we can make the itinerary personal for your club, and your people. Local information about where you will be visiting is also included within the itinerary. The balance cheque will be required 30 days prior to the off, again in order that all your fees are fully paid up in advance. This includes green fees, and any boat trips, steam train rides, brewery tours, etc. that we might include. All that the club ‘organiser’ should need to do is count people onto the coach. We will strive to create your ideal tour, however the earlier that you start your enquiry, the better the chance that we can fulfil you wish. Generally, hotels take bookings about a year ahead, therefore short notice enquiries may result in dissapointment in the most poular areas. Hotels usually have very few single rooms, and normally charge suppliments for single room occupancy. The more single rooms required, the higher the overall cost will become. Single people willing to share twin rooms will obviously benefit all.
